As technology continues to dominate attention, traditional reading habits have declined, with AI seen as the latest and possibly final threat. To counter this, we set out to make reading relevant again by combining the pull of modern technology with the depth of classic literature.
Enter Playbrary, for National Library Board Singapore: an AI experience that transforms classic books into immersive adventure games. By reimagining timeless stories like Frankenstein and The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes as interactive journeys, we helped young readers engage with literature on their own terms.
